Ground Work: Tim Dee, Marina Warner and Ken Worpole
Tuesday 6 March 2018, 7 p.m. · 71 minutesRadio producer and naturalist Tim Dee has curated in Ground Work (Cape) an essential collection of autobiographical essays from distinguished writers, all of which explore, in diverse ways, the complex and increasingly vexed relationship between the human and natural. From Hugh Brody in the High Arctic to John Burnside in the Arizona desert to Julia Blackburn on a Suffolk beach, Ground Work is set to become a key document for understanding the age that has come to be known as the Anthropocene.
Tim Dee will be in conversation with two of the book's contributors, Marina Warner and Ken Worpole.
